My Go-To Shoe Obsessions

Shoe fetish?
I definitely have one. I think I’ve had one for as long as I can remember back when I couldn’t afford any type of shoe over $20.
I remember saving up and buying my first platform heals from Sergio Rossi at an outlet in Italy. I think they were probably $120 and it was the most money I had ever spent on a pair of shoes. The heel was a cylinder that was clear with gold leaf and the front shaft was black with this gorgeous gold buckle. I still have them to this day because they are such a visceral memory to me of falling in love with some thing that I had to have despite the inability to actually afford it.
That was definitely a time where I told myself over and over again the mantra of cost per wear.
Flash forward now and I have more shoes than I care to share. Shoes that I’ll never wear but that make me happy when I see them. Shoes that have emotional sentiment that will live forever in my storage facility and then my go to's that I wear in and out every day.
Today’s article is about the shoes that I love and have been wearing consistently for the last couple months.
Of course there’s going to be a healthy dose of Rebecca Minkoff shoes, but on the casual and sneaker front. I’m excited to share the below:
First stop- we came out with these boots over the winter time and I am simply obsessed. The perfect heel with a little touch of metal in the toe and easy to pull on, divine! I wear this with everything from leather pants to mini skirts to denim. I have them in every color we offer and I can’t get enough. This style is been such a best seller for us and we are planning to continue it on the go forward in different ways.
I am obsessed with this new sneaker. I saw a gym junkie on Instagram and it was really hard to track down but thankfully I found them on StockX. They’re the perfect mix to me of an elevated and casual for me there go to on the weekends and for all of my airport commuting.
Next up: the Birkenstock. This sandal really needs no introduction. I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks since I was 13 years old when my grandmother used to take me every summer before summer camp to buy a new pair of Converse and a pair of Birkenstocks, I basically lived in Birkenstocks during the pandemic and got so crazy that when I found a style I loved I bought four of each as back ups.
I can wear it with a dress and is my every day go to. Birkenstocks to me are some of the most comfortable shoes on the planet and I feel like this is a style that will never go out of style. Maybe one day will even collaborate, I mean a girl can dream right?
Last, but not least I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a pair of these babies I have been wearing nonstop if you follow me on Instagram, and everyone loves the gold patent with the thick chunky heel, and the fact that you can truly pair these with jeans or in my case, my favorite leather cargo, I have worn them on repeat this winter and plan to wear them into the spring season until guess what- they arrive in silver.
