Well, it’s finally the end of summer and with that, I wanted to share a few of my new fave products that I have been testing lately and think are worthy of sharing.
Hello Activated Charcoal Epic Whitening Fluoride Free Toothpaste (Shop HERE)
Of all people, my daughter influenced me. She had asked me if her teeth were too yellow (they are) and I suggested an all-natural toothpaste maybe like that purple one and came back from a trip and she had found this. I have no clue how long it takes to work but I DO know that charcoal has good stuff and helps detox, so I figured we can try and whiten our teeth together, naturally, and at a glacier pace. But having done the zoom whitening version, I can attest, I will take yellow teeth ANY day rather than deal with the pain of that. So here we go. Slow and steady.
Acidic Perfecting Concentrate Leave-in Treatment (Redken)
I hate and never use stuff with a ton of chemicals, but Brandon, the man behind my great hairstyles of late, told me this was a must: it goes on my ends, and protects them from all the heat that my sad little frayed edges take on the daily. I think it’s making them stronger. Let’s hope!
Quicksilver Scientific Liposomal Melatonin (Shop HERE)
Recently, I switched brands and this one offers me a deep, mostly peaceful sleep that is only broken by a small tiny human who is seeking whatever sad amount of milk I have left in me. I don’t wake up foggy or tired and take 4 sprays under my tongue. Let’s hope I don’t have to keep upping my dose.
Concentrated Firming Body Serum (Kayo)
I have long been a fan of Kayo, and this firming serum is great because I have noticed with my weight loss, that some skin just feels a bit too well, loose. I feel good knowing it’s clean and that it’s deeply moisturizing as well. It’s currently sold out, but if you sign up here, Revolve will send you an email when it’s back in stock!
Your Favorite Ex Exfoliating Pads (YSE Beauty)
Morning Cocktail Vitamin C Serum (YSE Beauty)
Last but not least, I usually HATE toning pads. But I got the skinny all from Ms. Molly, on her products, so now I am converting. I use the toning pads at night, then lather on my cream (you know the one, I talk about it often) But in the AM, I love her morning cocktail. It’s a great, smooth, and priming base and gives me the C my skin never knew it needed.
So those are my recent adds to my med cabinet and will be on heavy rotation till the next dose of discovery sets in.
Till next time my friends…
